LED Vision - Australasia

American rapper Eminem – the first famous white rapper since Beastie Boys – made his way to Australia at the end of last year to perform his live show in front of his fans in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. With a full live band, the Eminem “Recovery” show was bigger then ever and his tour has reminded Australians of just how iconic the rapper is.

Technical Direction Company (TDC) were supplying the video equipment for Eminem’s tour. The huge VuePix LED screen consisting of over 400pcs of C14 panels was used in the centre of the stage, creating impacting visual effects. Throughout the shows live video streaming was feed back to the screens where all the fans could see in Eminem’s eyes the intent and intensity when performing his greatest hits.

It's been over 10 years since Eminem last performed in Australia. To celebrate his amazing return - he sold out a stadium in Melbourne in thirty minutes, and brought hip hop heavy weights Hilltop Hoods and Lil Wayne to support him.

Eminem kicked off his show with 'Lighters' which originally featured Bruno Mars. After the smokers of the stadium lit up the venue with a 'sky full of lighters' Eminem launched straight into some tracks from his latest album “Recovery” and the crowd made their enthusiasm felt by screaming the house down.

You could see the 39-years-old's mouth working a mile a minute to spit those famously sharp verses of his songs as he skipped, prowled and bounced across the stage. At the end of the show Eminem added an encore of 'Lose Yourself', which riled the crowds into an absolute frenzy.
