Integrate 2010 was held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion complex from 24th to 26th August 2010. The exhibition was well attended with over 90 exhibitors. ULA Group’s stand and attendance made the company a key exhibitor and certainly the largest lighting and visual exhibitor at the show.
At Integrate the ULA Group officially launched several new products in Australia, one being the world first launch of the VuePix® - L Series P-10’. The key features of the screen include an innovative light weigh design - each module weighs a low 18.5kgs, around 30% lighter than competitive products. The fully modular system enables the L series to be serviced by hand with no tools required to interchange modules and power supplies.

For the last 15 years, the Store DJ location in Darlinghurst has been embedded in the Sydney DJ scene. From its beginnings as One Stop Dee Jay, (Store DJ took over the iconic store location in 2007), Store DJ continues to service and support the locals with the latest and greatest in DJ tools and tunes.
Bursting at the seams, and in order to be more accessible to clients, Store DJ made the decision to move to a bigger, better and more accessible location in Stanmore. Features of the new shop include a massive and spectacular lighting display, improved PA section, as well as all the biggest lines of DJ and production equipment all setup and ready to be played on. They are also launching a hire section for their Sydney market, where customers will be able to hire the best DJ and PA equipment.

The Arts Centre Gold Coast (ACGC) has recently upgraded their Robe moving light stock, purchasing Robe ROBIN® 300E Spot’s and Robe ColorSpot 250AT’s. After their last purchase of the ColorWash 750AT Tungsten’s, The ACGC decided to stick with Robe to complete their rig, replacing their other stock making it a complete Robe rig. “The Tungsten’s have been working for 2 years in their lighting rig and since then have not had one fault, so it was easy to go with Robe again”, says Senior Lighting Technician Jesse Radatti from the ACGC.

PMA (Photo Marketing Association) Australia 2010 Digital Life Expo was held in June 2010 at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre exhibiting stands and seminars to keen enthusiasts wanting to know more about digital photo imagery and the latest technology. PMA is one of the largest Photography shows in Australia, recording this year’s largest attendance of all years totally in excess of 23,000 registrations.
One major exhibitor was Canon, and they were looking for the latest visual technology centrepiece on their Canon stand. The stands designer, Virtual Display Group, met with Clifton Productions System Tech James Pavey to come up with a solution to meet Canon’s needs.

Robe CitySkape Xtreme LED fixtures were utilised to illuminate what's been officially declared by the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest soccer ball of them all!
The 15 metre high ball currently resides at the Emperor’s Palace Hotel, Casino Convention & Entertainment Resort, Johannesburg, South Africa and is a promotion for Kia Motors intended to mark the culmination of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
