Robe in World Cup Kick Off Concert Print E-mail

Robe lighting did its bit to represent the Czech Republic in the absence of the country's football team from the World Cup tournament - with Robe moving lights used extensively for the official "Kick Off Concert", staged in Orlando Stadium, Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa.      

The show featured a star studded line up, headlined by Shakira, The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Vusi Mahlasela, Blk Jks, Juanez, Tinariwen, The Parlotones, Big Nuz & DJ Tira and many more. There were also addresses by South African President, Jacob Zuma and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Robe in the Driving Seat for VW Polo Vivo Launch Print E-mail

Robe moving lights played their part in a spectacular star-studded show to launch the new Volkswagen Polo Vivo at Sun City Superbowl, South Africa.

Strike Productions supplied all the event's technical elements for production company Blue Moon, and also asked Robert Hoey from Dream Sets onboard as lighting designer.

Robe Takes The Heat at Masada Print E-mail

Over 100 Robe moving lights were utilised for the Israeli Opera's amazing production of Verdi's "Nabucco", a stunning site specific work staged in a purpose built open air arena at the foot of Masada Mountain at the Dead Sea in Israel. 

Robe also made custom reflectors and special framing gobos for its ColorSpot 2500E AT fixtures, to facilitate the very specific requirements of leading Israeli  lighting designer Avi Yona Bueno (Bambi), who wanted to have a super-tight beam to isolate different areas onstage, whilst retaining the intensity of the light path.
