Your Application When submitting an application for a position @ ULA, it must be marked with the the Vacancy Number (VN) for the position quoted in the advertisement, and should contain the following:
- A cover letter
- A current curriculum vitae (CV); and your
- Response any Selection Criteria
Cover Letter A cover letter can often provide greater insight into your reasons for applying, than the CV alone and both are important as they provide us as a potential employer with important information about you and your thoughts on why you are suited to the position.

Curriculum Vitae Include as part of your applicant package a CV that outlines your previous experience and any qualifications. We are interested in your interests and what qualities you could bring to the company.

Assessing Your Application The steps include:

A Selection Panel will consider all applications submitted and shortlist those which clearly meet the requirements for the position

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview

In the event that you are shortlisted, please bring evidence of your qualifications.

For some positions, shortlisted applicants, in addition to the interview, may be required to complete other selection assessments (such as work tests or similar). The use of this selection strategy allows you an opportunity to answer questions or demonstrate your skills away from the interview situation and offers additional information for the Panel to consider.

Following the interview, the most suitable applicant(s) will have their Referees contacted for further reference information.

For some positions, a second interview for the most suitable applicant will be required, prior to offer of a position.
