Congratulations to Rick Morrison, Senior Lighting Designer from AECOM Brisbane , who received a commendation for his significant lighting designs to the refurbishment of the Queensland Performing Arts (QPAC) Concert Hall.

cfj_qpac_concert-01.jpgRick says “Anolis proved to be a high quality, innovative and reliable source of RGB colour changing LED for application in the project. They also provide their own control equipment, matched to the LEDS. The product is tested to IP rating as well as to photometric performance, both of which are required in modern design engineering. This is the reason the product was chose, as it could be modelled and verified prior to being installed.”

The QPAC Concert Hall can change mood and theme virtually at will, with subtle changes in the colour and intensity of the Anolis ArcLine strips that Rick has specified. Patrons have a new experience with every production they attend, even before the curtain goes up.
Rick has achieved an energy efficient design by removing most of the incandescent lighting and replacing it with LED lighting extensively, using Anolis as a key part of the solution.
